Qatar Women Engineers Association (QWEA) قويّة, which means in Arabic the strong women, is a non-profit association founded in late 2020 and falls under the umbrella of the Qatar Society of Engineers (QSE). The association is recognized by the Ministry of Social Development & Family. Executed many projects and initiatives with Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Ministry of Sports and Youth, international embassies and Qatar Scientific Club. With more than 300 members, QWEA is committed to provide excellence in its program to inspire the girls to persuade a degree in Engineering and to promote and empower professionals in the field of Engineering in Qatar.
